Terrific food! The crab cakes, shrimp, scallops & lobster all phenomenal!

Great bruschetta that is what should be famous but the onion rings we're good too! Great atmosphere and great crab cakes. The crab in the crab cakes was top notch. Overall really good. Could have more of a wine selection and clarity on pricing. Overall great though

Food could have been warmer, waitress only came back to check on us after we had finished our meal. The tip was included in the bill, 20% weather she deserves it or not. Very pricey

This place is great for seafood. Cooked well. Good atmosphere. Presentation lacking. Service rushed. Would go back because so many wonderful options and specials.

Food was great! Service was good! Steak was super tender. Portions were all on point. We started with the shrimp appetizer and was definitely not disappointed. The salad was crisp and dressing was delicious. Could have used a larger plate, but can't complain. We did ask for bread, which never came. The server did seem a bit distracted, but it was okay. The steak, spaghetti, and cream of crab soup was amazing. The meatball grinder, while tasty, was too messy to really eat. My daughter ended up trying a fork/knife, but it just was a mess. I would avoid that area of the menu. Dessert are all great and worth a stop in just for that. Overall, great place of a nice meal. Food and experience is upper level, prices are worth the value, and other than a few hiccups, it is a solid recommendation.

It would have been a five star if our bartender had a better attitude and was more attentive. Came in for lunch and we were sat near a large party. We simply moved to the bar for a more peaceful area. Food came out in a very timely manner and tasted great however after we were done Teisha was constantly on her phone and had a poor attitude towards us. We eventually had to get up to pay so we could leave. If you want people to come back, be a little more kind.

The stuffed lobster was amazing. The crab cake was impeccable. Our appetizer was crab quesadilla. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Sarah and she was absolutely Amazing . Customer service was terrific and I will be going back

After seeing great reviews on several websites, I had very high expectations for this restaurant. Unfortunately, nothing was up to par. The staff was very nice and welcoming, but the service was very slow. Our reservation was at 7 we didn’t get our food until after 8. The appearance of our food wasn’t pleasing as well as the taste. It could’ve just been a bad day, but we definitely won’t be eating here again.

Food was great. My only issue was the flooring. Almost broke my neck because I wore heels, and the flooring is a vinyl sheet of death when you walk in. I'm sure ita easy to clean but it is also easy to slip on. Anyway, seafood is the best on East Market.

Ate at The Paddock today for my grandmas birthday and unfortunately there was an issue with one of my sides that turned my stomach a bit. I simply asked the waitress to replace that side with something else, but surprisingly she went above and beyond to make it right. I was really shocked and appreciative. Not many places are worried about customer service and this made me feel like I was a valued customer. Thank you.

Wow such a great place for dinner! Everything was fresh and delicious, with the seafood being truly outstanding! The server's knowledge of the menu was very helpful. We'll be returning with our friends.

Simply the best place for seafood in South Central Pennsylvania. Great atmosphere, an efficient staff, and incredibly great seafood. The crab is to die for. Pictured is haddock stuffed with imperial lump crab meat and scallops.

Definitely the food. It was awesome. A bit pricy but if the good is awesome I don't. mind. Our waitress was great. Food was quick to come out. I highly recommend The Paddock.

The food was great, however our table was in direct sunlight as the sun was going down. I was baking the entire time I was there, and the food and drinks were quite pricey. The selection of regular drinks was quite small, and they bring you whatever you order to drink in a bottle or can along with a cup of ice. The tables on the elevated patio were smaller, so it was harder to fit all of our plates, food, and drink on there. Overall a good establishment with good service, just a few tinny issues that a picky person like myself would change.

Delicious seafood and steaks. Our server was fine but the table next to us had a very strange, loud and obnoxious server. We were glad not to deal with her. Otherwise great experience and we will definitely go back.

Truly A "Gem" The Service and Seafood are AWESOME! In Spite of COVID We felt safe and well taken care of. The Owners and Staff have the highest integrity and are ever so dedicated to doing right by their customers, staff, and community.

I have not set foot in the Paddock in years. It has had a considerable facelift. We were seated and waited on immediately. Had our appetizer in minutes. Three different orders and three different opinions. Fish sandwich was more bread then fish, Bradford filet mignon was great and the soup was delicious. Staff was very attentive and on point. I gave it 4 stars due to cost.

Just had an AMAZING meal at the Paddock. Our server was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly. We had crab dip in a bread bowl, lobster n crab Mac n cheese, cream of crab soup, crab cake and delicious desserts. Best complete meal ever!

You can not go wrong with one of the best crab cakes in Town

This is a very late review, however, my family got dinner for Mother's Day from here. It was our first time trying their food and we were very impressed! Not only were the portion sizes great, but I spoke to the owner on the phone to place the order, and he was very nice. The food was ready when I arrived (we had to do take-out with everything happening) and everything was still warm when I got home, so I know it wasn't sitting out waiting to be picked up. Everyone in my family was impressed, which takes a lot. We will definitely be returning soon!

While I liked getting back out to dining the outdoor experience was not for me. Food was good but I would rather eat inside.

This was our first experience and it was a failed mission! We were seated in a corner and it seemed like no thought was placed into first time customers. I was told that my food could be cooked a certain wait by the server, yet, upon getting my food and seeing that it wasn't cooked in the option I was told, I was formed that at that moment, they no longer cooked the food in that manner. Server chose not to ask if the food was even good or if we needed any drinks or anything else after receiving our food. Bathroom was definitely not up to par or standards to what we paid to eat there. Once and done.

Way to expensive. 10 bucks just for a house salad at lunch time.

There were about 10 to 12 tables strategically placed for social distancing. About 4 to 5 waitress. Took about 20 to 25 minutes until I was asked if I wanted a refill. Don't get what the problem was. Also was charged for another tables meal. 🙄😶😑. It was corrected but had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Really shocked

Outstanding Service and Food!!! We noticed a couple "Off" Reviews and realized several were from a disgruntled former employee and her connections...... Rest Assured the Paddock is TOP NOTCH.

Cheese steak was great, fresh cut fries. Great server. Chicken wings not so good. She ate 1 & I had 1 out of a pound.

The food was great the fish was fresh the crab cake is crab not filler service was terrific as well. Very nice place. Highly recommend

I have to say I have traveled the world and honestly have never experienced food like we had at this restaurant for the first time! It is a clean, professional, an amazingly beautiful and inviting place to dine with some of the best cream of crab soup one has ever had the pleasure of tasting!!! Also the entree I ordered the jumbo crab stuffed shrimp were perfectly prepared and absolutely mouth watering delicious. We would would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a wonderful food experience in York county. Job well done The Paddock on Market!!!

The Paddock in the past was a very good (costly) reliable restaurant for great steak & seafood. Re-opening had changes, with outdoor 'dining' that we were not expecting. So, if you're lucky enough to eat indoors, you're experience is hopefully better! Outdoor seating (picnic tables or unpadded metal chairs) not real comfortable to start. Prices are extremely too high, using their same menu for indoor vs. outdoor 'dining'. Eating cold, tough $28 prime rib in a plastic to-go box, with plastic utensils really shocked us! (The steak knife arrived 10 min. later). Seafood fared out better, being hot when served. The stuffed shrimp & baked potato were perfect. I was totally frozen by the time my husband suffered his was to the end. Really needed hot coffee! but it was NOT available.....they could not serve a coffee mug outside? and had no hot to-go cups.....Expensive/Disappointing :-(

The food was good but overpriced. We no sooner paid our bill and our waitress told us we had 10 minutes to leave because the table we were seated at was reserved for another party coming in. Meanwhile, there were multiple open tables around us. The party sitting next to us was asked to leave as well, for the same reason. Several customers remarked on their way out, they heard the waitress being rude to us. If you could not accommodate our party for dinner, you should have never seated us. I won't be back.

Amazing food! Been here a few times and everything on the menu is fantastic. Can get busy but it's worth the wait.
